DISCO Corporation (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuma Sekiya) has established an overseas local affiliate in Bangalore, located in the state of Karnataka in South India. The overseas local affiliate began operations on September 2, 2024.

Purpose of Establishment

As numerous companies have announced plans for semiconductor-related investments in India, they are expected to start establishing semiconductor factories within India soon. While the overseas local affiliate in Singapore (DISCO HI-TEC (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD) has been providing support for India up until the present, the decision was made to establish an overseas local affiliate within India to strengthen the support system for meeting future demand.
