Hiroshima Works Closure on August 15 Due to Typhoon Krosa

Typhoon Krosa is currently approaching western Japan, and Hiroshima Prefecture, where DISCO plants are located, is at risk of falling within the storm path. Thus, Hiroshima Works (both Kure and Kuwabata Plants) will be closed on Thursday, August 15.

Final inspections as planned for some international customers at Kuwabata Plant will take place as scheduled through utilization of the accommodation facilities for customers prepared in Zone C of the plant. In addition, it is predicted that staff members supporting the aforementioned buyoffs may experience commuting difficulties. To resolve this issue, the Zone C accommodation facilities will also be made available to those staff members.

Regarding product shipments, the impact on customers will be minimized by individually adjusting the delivery dates.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
