Authorized Exporter Approval Notice
DISCO was approved by Tokyo Customs as being an authorized exporter that is implementing a compliance program and security control for cargo.
In order to deliver products to our customers promptly, DISCO conducts our customs clearance in-house. In general, export declarations to customs are outsourced to an external specialist company. However, by conducting it internally, the leadtime for delivery is significantly shortened. (The leadtime can be shortened by up to two days and up to half-day when delivered from Tokyo and Hiroshima respectively.)
The air cargo labels that are pasted on the cargo are also manufactured in-house in line with export declarations being conducted within the company facilities. Since the start of in-house customs clearance in October 2014, almost 100% of customs clearance has been conducted in-house, with the exception of international courier services.
DISCO has established a Known Shipper / Regulated Agent System and has been strengthening security management for cargo and facilities.
