The Board of Directors takes into consideration the balance of knowledge, experience, and abilities associated with business along with knowledge of innovation and technology, and strives to ensure its diversity through a diverse composition by selecting members based on suitability from an international and gender diversity standpoint as well.
In addition, DISCO aims for a "Female director ratio of 30% or higher" in terms of gender diversity.
In addition to the knowledge and experience of each Director, the skills required are identified in light of key business strategies that include “to be a corporation that contributes to the realization of a sustainable society through all of its corporate activities” as stated in DISCO VISION 2030.
